Our client, a multi-national sportswear manufacturer, used Total e-Solutions XML expertise to provide an ISeries XML Interface to System 21. The inbound XML file comprises an advanced shipment notice and interfaces automatically the System 21/Aurora purchasing module.

In this pure ISeries solution we developed an XML parser in free coded RPGILE to break down the inbound xml message from a managed IFS directory and converted this for compatibility with the DB2 database.

The xml messages structure contains in excess of 32000 sub elements nested within multiple xml trees.
